Biography

 

Pascal was born in Kortrijk, Belgium on the 28th of July 1973.

He grew up in a family of musicians, so it was very normal for him

to start studying classical music at the age of 11.

He graduated at the conservatory of Kortrijk where he studied

harmony, piano, organ and composition.

He’s a church musician and plays the organ and piano.

In his spare time, he composes Soundtracks, albums and piano music.

His first performance The Journey I (2012) , a musical journey through the world,

received much acclaim.

In 2014 came a second performance, The Journey II , a musical journey through time - legends and myths.

​He also creates arrangements for orchestral and piano and scored several short films.

Pascal is also part of the duo group Labierint that performs Dutch and French chansons.

His interest in film music led him to participate in international film music competitions

as in Zurich international Film competition from 2014, 2016, 2017, 2022

In 2016 he composed music for a book Trailer “Henrietta”,

the book was written by Johanna Dursin.

In 2017 he made the full soundtrack for the book.

His project A Journey Into The Universe,musical journey through the Universe
was performed in 2021 and 2022 with special vocal artist Dr. Françoise Vanhecke, Soprano.

In 2022, he was nominated by the Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards for
FILM/MEDIA SCORING (EMERGING DIVISION).

His new Project VOices of the Oceans, a musical journey in the ocean,

was performed in 2023 with vocal artist Dr. Françoise Vanhecke, Soprano and
Frans Deprez - Ethnic Instruments & Percussion.
